A video to showcase the grand opening of the new Jayco Newcastle after the old one had unfortunately burnt down. Special guests on the night included VIP customers, the Jayco Newcastle team and the owner of Jayco Gerry Ryan

Newcastle City Council Boardriders won the Michilis SurfAid Cup in half-metre (two foot) surf at Dixon Park, Newcastle, with 16 corporate teams raising $52,000 for humanitarian organisation SurfAid.

Pro surfers who generously donated their time and skills to the event were two-time ASP world champion Tom Carroll, local Newcastle legends Matt Hoy and Luke Egan, Thruster-inventor Simon Anderson, Tom Whitaker, Mark Mathews, Dan Ross and local surfers Drew Courtney, Ryan Callinan, Justin Lee, Jackson Baker, Travis Lynch, Michael Spencer, New Zealand’s Billy Stairmand and USA’s Ryan Ragan.

In 2014 The Gum Ball will return for it's 10th anniversary. Hosted by The Johnston family on their property 'Dashville' at Belford NSW.

Despite a lot of hard knocks, the festival has continued to evolve over the years. To be known, by its passionate audience as one of the best boutique music festivals, not only in Australia, but in existence.

Leading into the 10th anniversary we went behind the scenes, to see what sets The Gum Ball apart.

DigDeep Promotions celebrated 13 years of sell out events with a High Flyers Day Cruise around Sydney Harbour featuring Carl Cox. This was followed by an extended 4 1/2 hr set at the after party in the Metro.
